An extensive and varied collection of glass mosaics, that find in color a lively and seductive key to expression. Glass paste mosaic is, in fact, obtained by compacting glass powder with very fine quartz sands and by adding varying amounts of coloring agent to the molten mixture, to make tesserae more or less translucent. The addition of other components enriches the glass mosaic with surprising and precious aesthetic effects: from bronze-colored mottling of aventurine to the iridescent reflections generated by iridescent powders, up to the lamination with real 24K gold leaf. As the glass paste is colored throughout its thickness, this type of mosaic is extremely resistant to abrasion and chemical attacks, reason why it is suitable for a wide range of uses.
